Several years ago, GMU created a Student Managed Investment Fund (SMIF). This is an equity only fund managed by students. Members present their research to the student finance committee for voting to decide what stocks to buy or sell. The instructor, professor, and fund advisor will moderate each session selecting his best students to share their investment ideas with OLLI members.
