The ‘24 POTUS Election! How can we sort out all the hype, hyperbole, and hysteria that accompanies the ever-changing process of electing our president? In 2024, the impacts of social media and artificial intelligence will loom large in swaying opinions! Let’s take a serious look at: 1) Accurate voter polls on the ISSUES, 2) Candidate statements on THESE issues, 2) Tracking of CREDIBLE prediction polls over time, 3) Analysis of the “good, bad, and the ugly” impacts of all forms of MEDIA as the campaign unfolds. Finally, let’s do polls of our own in forecasting the outcome! We’ll continue with further sessions in summer and fall terms! “It ain’t over till it’s over”! Yogi Berra.
