Thursday, 9:40—11:05, May 2
One session
Instructor: Raoul Drapeau
Cryptocurrency uses words like Bitcoin, blockchain, miners, exchanges, and somebody named Satoshi Yakamoto. Cryptocurrency can be a very complicated subject. At one level, it’s easy enough to understand. It can be like a bank transfer, currency conversion, an accounting ledger, or a stock brokerage. Down in the weeds though, the details get very complicated, obscure and risky. Unfortunately, scammers have taken advantage of those details and cost some people their life savings. So, the goal is to tell you enough so that when you read an article about cryptocurrency or when the subject comes up in a conversation, you’ll be able to hold your own.
