This is not a bridge lesson, but a lecture about the most popular card game ever invented. The instructor will describe its origins, its hold on people, and what it takes to play bridge well. He will also re-tell some of the delicious stories that have collected around the game over the years.
Bob Levey is a longtime daily columnist for The Washington Post and a national champion bridge player. He holds more than 10,000 master points, and has written about and taught bridge for more than 50 years. He is a principal in Wilsonovich Bridge Services, which provides lessons and partners. Bob previously taught an OLLI Mason summer 2025 class, The Golden Era at The Washington Post.
