Come learn the ins and outs of this fascinating tile-based game that originated in China and spread across the world. The instructor will focus on the American version of the game, building expertise one step at a time until you’re able to hold your own in a friendly game at OLLI’s Mah Jongg club or elsewhere. This course will accommodate beginners who have never played Mah Jongg as well as once-upon-a-time or occasional players who want a thorough review and brush-up. Note: Taking the class is NOT a prerequisite for joining the OLLI Mah Jongg club.
Debby Mossburg is semi-retired from a career teaching struggling adolescent learners and their teachers. She has been an avid Mah Jongg player for over ten years and loves teaching others to play and take delight in the game.
