The Holocaust was, "the systematic, state-sponsored persecution and murder of six million European Jews (and others) by the Nazi German regime and its allies and collaborators." Learn about how the Holocaust began and evolved into the Final Solution to the Jewish Question (USHM.org) and is reflected in today's world. This course is a continuation from Part I in winter 2026 term. 
Rena Berlin is a retired middle years teacher, International Baccalaureate Middle Years (IBMYP) program coordinator who taught for IBMYP around the U.S. and Canada. She became the first director of education at the Virginia Holocaust Museum, retiring after six years. She now teaches for OSHER programs.
