704F Experiencing Iran During the 12-Day War

The instructor travels to Iran yearly to visit her 91-year-old mother-in-law and numerous other relatives. In spring 2025, she was caught there when Israel attacked. She will give some background information on Iran and share her experience of what life was like during those days. 
Carol Esteki is an OLLI member who has previously taught social science classes. She is retired from Fairfax County Department of Social Services and is a Shia Muslim who has made multiple trips to Iran.
