Three sessions
Instructor: Roy Wagner
Mondays, 2:15—3:40, Sept. 22—Oct. 6
Our discussion of the history of computer adventuring will start in 1975 with the first computer game aptly named, Adventure. Discussion of the evolution of computer adventuring will continue to the present day adventure game, Firmament from Cyan Worlds. The class will cover the various computers used to take these adventures.
Since 1978, Roy Wagner’s career and hobbies took him on these adventures. As an avocation, he converted games for the Apple computer to run on Commodore home computers. He was a game review columnist for Computer Gaming World magazine. He has also “beta” tested many computer games and services.
