Everyone uses energy. Everyone pays for the energy. Everyone impacts the environment. The presentation includes the basics of United States energy production and consumption. All forms of energy production and use, fossil fuels, nuclear, solar and renewable are covered. Included are some issues facing world energy consumption. Future energy production and consumption scenarios are presented. Identified are the major effects on you, the consumer.
Bruce Cranford has been an adjunct professor at Howard Community College in Columbia, MD since June 2021. He regularly teaches space classes for OLLI Mason as well as at the Montgomery College Lifelong Learning Institute in Rockville, Md.
