The instructor, with first-hand experience dealing with the following issues, will share case studies.
Session 1: What does copyright mean? This session will explain the procedure required to have a trademark registered and the use of the circled R designation on various products.
Session 2: Trade Secrets and maintenance of goods and products sold in commerce, as well as protection of their respective secret formulae/ingredients.
Session 3: Intellectual Property (“IP”). There have been incredible leaps forward in communications over the past few decades, including mobile phones, cable TV, and satellite reception.
John Pellegrin, an attorney, received his undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and his law degree from Fordham University. He is admitted to practice in New York, the District of Columbia, and Virginia before all of their highest courts, local federal courts, and the United States Supreme Court.
