F656Z What You Didn't Know About Single People
Friday, 1:00—2:30, Oct. 4
One session
Instructor: Craig Wynne
This course will provide an opportunity for participants to learn about singlehood as a valid lifestyle choice. They will learn the stereotypes about singles that pervade cultures around the world as well as how to recognize them in their daily lives and in the media. They will also learn about the inequities in legal and financial structures that single people face, as well as language not to use around single family members and friends. Participants will also learn strategies for how to live as happy singles if they are single (or become so in the future).
