This class will cover classical perspectives on market entrepreneurship, show how the concept of entrepreneurship can be extended to political settings, and apply these ideas in a brief case study of how the Silver Line Metrorail project was developed, funded, and put into operation.
Tim Cox is a PhD student in economics at George Mason University, where his research interests include development economics, institutional economics, and industrial organization issues in the public sector.
