A discussion based on the instructor’s recent book Writer, Sailor, Soldier, Spy (William Morrow, 2017) on Hemingway’s personal brand of political activism—which included a heavy dose of intelligence work—and its personal costs for him.
A historian with a PhD from Oxford University, Nicholas Reynolds has worked in the fields of military and intelligence history for both the History and Museum Division of the US Marine Corps and the CIA Museum in Langley. He lives in Arlington.
