This hands-on class will focus on creating poems with imagery that sparkles and with language that illuminates the subject rather than simply relating it. Part lecture and part workshop, participants will bring their poems to class for both critique and revision.
Mike Maggio’s publication credits include fiction, poetry, and travel, and book reviews in many local, national, and international publications. His latest collection of poetry, Let’s Call It Paradise (San Francisco Bay Press) won the International Book Award for Contemporary Poetry.
